As another NFL season concludes, the most anticipated time of the year finally approaches… The NFL Offseason.
This is one of my favorite times of the year. I enjoy predicting offseason moves and trying to anticipate big acquisitions before they happen. I’ve done extensive research on how each QB opening could potentially be filled this offseason. I feel ready for the NFL offseason, and the Super Bowl hasn’t even kicked off yet.
In my attempts to fill in the blanks through extensive research, there is always a chance that some of that research could be making something out of nothing. Please keep in mind that this is all speculative writing that hasn’t been provided insider information; therefore, you should take this input “with a grain of salt.”
I still hope you all enjoy this series, nonetheless, as I predict the quarterback rooms for each NFL franchise in 2025. Today’s article focuses on the last division of the NFC, the East.

2025 NFC East QB Room Predictions
Philadelphia Eagles
Quarterbacks: Jalen Hurts, Kenny Pickett
Should I address him as Jalen Hurts or Super Bowl MVP- Jalen Hurts? Congratulations to the Philadelphia Eagles on their Super Bowl victory!
The NFC East, for the most part, won’t be seeing any changes at quarterback, and for certain, there won’t be any changes in Philadelphia. After taking his team to a second Super Bowl, there is no reason to move on from Hurts with what he has done for this team. Although Hurts won’t be going anywhere in the near future, Kenny Pickett is up for a contract. With a limited market for Pickett this offseason, I expect to see him return to Philadelphia in 2025.
Fantasy Advice: Limit Expectations for Hurts in 2025, with Kellen Moore leaving for New Orleans.
Washington Commanders
Quarterbacks: Jayden Daniels, Jameis Winston
I’m glad that the Commanders are in between the Eagles and the Cowboys in this article to bring some excitement.
Given the fact that we just witnessed arguably the best rookie season of all time for Jayden Daniels, I think it’s safe to say that the starting quarterback position for Washington is a lock. Although we’re not looking for a starting quarterback in Washington to bring some excitement, don’t you think Jameis Winston mentoring Jayden Daniels would be pretty fun and exciting?
Fantasy Advice: Pair Jameis Winston with Jayden Daniels in case of potential injury.
Dallas Cowboys
Quarterbacks: Dak Prescott, Cooper Rush
Once again, another lackluster portion of the article. There’s no reason to believe that Dak Prescott will be playing for another team in 2025 due to the lengthy contract he was given.
If there’s anything I would expect to see out of Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys this offseason, though, it would be them talking about drafting Texas QB Quinn Ewers only to opt against it in favor of re-signing Cooper Rush.
Fantasy Advice: Draft A QB1 before Dak Prescott’s tier in 2025
New York Giants
Quarterbacks: Russell Wilson, Shedeur Sanders (rookie)
Now, here is where the excitement starts! A new era in New York begins.
With the current Giants regime expected to quickly turn the franchise around, expectations have never been higher for Daboll & others to retain their jobs in 2026. Given the fact that Aaron Rodgers currently plays in New York with the Jets and produced more than Wilson later in the season, I thought there was a strong likelihood that he would become the next starting quarterback for the Giants.
After shifting my opinion on Rodgers landing with a different organization, Wilson became the best available veteran on the market. The Giants can provide short-term growth with Russell Wilson guiding the offense in 2025, as well as shaping the future by drafting Shedeur Sanders to develop under Wilson in the meantime.
Fantasy Advice: Shedeur Sanders is worth the 1.03 in Dynasty Rookie SuperFlex Drafts
NFC East Conclusion
Does this outcome bring excitement back to New York Giants football? Is there a chance that Jameis Winston will become the next backup to Jayden Daniels? Could we even see zero change regarding the Eagles and Cowboys quarterback depth charts this offseason? Time will tell as the free agency and the NFL Draft commence, but as of this very moment, the odds for these scenarios all coming to fruition feel very high.
Stay tuned as the next article in this series will be breaking down the AFC North.
