Last week, we hit four of five in our picks! If you played with insurance, you won some cash! Let’s get five this week. This is a Club Fantasy roundtable, with various staff members giving you their favorite prop bets. On Underdog, you can combine prop bets into two, three, four, or five pick parlays with increasing payouts. Hitting five of five pays 20x your buy-in or 10x with insurance. With all that said, here are our favorite Week 3 NFL Player Props.
Note: Underdog occasionally changes their props throughout the week. So, while we try, the information in the article may not be perfect. The advice certainly won’t be, lol. If the Prop changed before the article went live, I noted it.
Week 3 NFL Player Props
Ryan Weisse – Justin Jefferson OVER 0.5 Rushing or Receiving Touchdowns
This feels like free money. I expect it to be a high-scoring game, with the Over/Under set at 54 points. The Chargers have allowed 566 yards and four TDs to wide receivers in two games so far. Meanwhile, despite 20 catches and a league-leading 309 yards, Jefferson hasn’t scored yet. He’s due.
Josh Hudson – Terry McLaurin UNDER 50.5 Receiving Yards
Josh is too cool for comments, but this is his pick normally comes from Wednesday’s No Punt Intended.
Tootsiepop6 – Adam Trautman OVER 20.5 Receiving Yards
With Greg Dulcich currently on IR, tight end Adam Trautman is the starting tight end for the Denver Broncos. Between the first two weeks of this season, the Miami Dolphins defense has allowed an average of 64 receiving yards to opposing tight ends. Over last season, this average was 52.2 receiving yards per game. Trautman is averaging a snap percentage of 77% this year, so the opportunity will be there for him to exceed this line of 20.5 receiving yards.
Joel Wirth – Raheem Mostert OVER 61.5 Rushing Yards (Went Up)
Fun fact: in the Washington -Denver game on Sunday, both teams had identical rushing lines of 23 carries for 122 yards. By process of mathmatification, this means Denver gave up 5.59 YPC to the Commanders in a favorable home environment. This week, the Broncos travel two time zones east to play a 1:00 EDT game in 85-degree Miami heat. I don’t expect this game to be close and Mostert to get more than enough carries to top this line easily.
Austin Amandolia – Travis Etienne over 69.5 rushing yards (Went Down)
This line opened at 65.5 on Underdog and has stabilized at 69.5 yards. The Houston Texans have struggled against running backs in their past five games, giving up the second most fantasy points to the position. Additionally, they have given up over 100 rushing yards in each of the first two games of the season, including 88 yards to Zach Moss. Etienne has been getting solid volume to start the season, and the Jags are a touchdown favorite, giving Etienne the opportunity to carry the rock as they grind out a victory.
And here is my betting slip to show I put my money where our mouths are! Good luck!
