Week 7 Fantasy Football Streamers: Top QB, TE, and DEF Picks

I am just going to be 100% honest here: last week kind of sucked for my Streams of the Week, and this week may not be much better. I give you a top-5 list every week, and I legitimately hate just about every pick this week. The pickings, they are slim! Again, I do give a top-5, and inevitably, one of them will pop. This article is actually doing great for the season, building the QB2, TE3, and DEF1 based on total points. I have just been doing a terrible job of picking the correct one of my five to call Stream of the Week. Let’s see if I can get it right in Week 7.

Each week, I highlight five fantasy football streaming options at QB, TE, and DEF. These players are available in at least 50% of ESPN leagues and can still provide a matchup edge. Let’s dive into this week’s picks and find you the upside you need.

Accountabilty

Am I any good at this? I’ll let the numbers speak for themselves. In this section, you’ll see how my Stream of the Week (SOTW) and Best Pick finish every week. Since I always provide five options, my Best Pick is the one that scores the most points, even if I didn’t designate it as the Stream of the Week. Essentially, the Best Pick line shows what you could achieve if you streamed only from my weekly lists.

Scores and rankings are based on PPR scoring and 4-point passing touchdowns. Most leagues use 6-point passing touchdowns, but data providers default to 4-point systems, so I’m keeping things consistent.

Week 7 Fantasy Football Streamers

Quarterback

Aaron Rodgers vs. NO (Paris)

Rodgers was my Stream of the Week last week, so hopefully you got him and held on. It was a rough start, but he finished strong, going for over 250 yards and two TDs on his way to a QB15 finish. Not too shabby. He is actually the QB14 for the season, so slow and steady wins the race. This week, the Steelers travel to France (Oh, la la!) and face the Saints. New Orleans gives up the 10th-most fantasy points to QBs over the last month, allowing about 274 yards and two TDs. So, in other words, expect a repeat performance from Rodgers.

Other Options

• Kyler Murray vs. IND
• Geno Smith vs. MIA
• Deshaun Watson @ TEN
• Kirk Cousins vs. LAR

Tight End

Dalton Schultz vs. NYG

Schultz started off so hot, but as the Texans’ WRs got healthy, his stock fell. The good news is that he is still averaging around six targets per game, and that is enough volume to keep a TE relevant. He just needs to fall in the endzone. The Giants are a middle-of-the-road matchup for TEs this season, but outside of one game against Trey McBride, they haven’t exactly faced stiff competition. And McBride scored 10 fantasy points on them, as did Chig Okonkwo two weeks ago. I think Schultz can hit 10 this week, and 16 if he can score a TD.

Other Options

• Tyler Higbee @ LV
• Colby Parkinson @ LV
• Kenyon Sadiq vs. MIA
• AJ Barner vs. KC

Defense

NY Jets vs. MIA

Of all my picks, this is the one I feel the best about. Now, by writing that, I have doomed them to fail, but I like the Jets this week. Or, more to the point, I like picking on Miami. They are the worst offense in the NFL by just about any metric. The Jets defense is having a rebound season after a terrible 2025. They are the DEF10 this year and have put up 17 sacks and 8 takeaways through six games. Miami allows about three sacks and 1-2 takeaways per game, so the Jets should crack the top-10 easily in Week 7.

Other Options

• Browns @ TEN
• Panthers vs. TB
• Bengals @ BAL
• Titans vs. CLE
