Well, at least we got one thing right in Week 5. After a rough Week 4, things did not get much better at TE and DEF, but we called a good garbage-time game from Jacoby Brissett at QB. After a hot start, things have cooled. We really need one week where I hit on three of three to get us back on track. Now, it’s not all bad. I give five options every week, and if you built your streams only using my player pool, you could have built the QB2, TE1, and DEF2. Let’s see if I can get it right with my Week 6 Streamers.
Each week, I highlight five fantasy football streaming options at QB, TE, and DEF. These players are available in at least 50% of ESPN leagues and can still provide a matchup edge. Let’s dive into this week’s picks and find you the upside you need.
Accountabilty
Am I any good at this? I’ll let the numbers speak for themselves. In this section, you’ll see how my Stream of the Week (SOTW) and Best Pick finish every week. Since I always provide five options, my Best Pick is the one that scores the most points, even if I didn’t designate it as the Stream of the Week. Essentially, the Best Pick line shows what you could achieve if you streamed only from my weekly lists.
Scores and rankings are based on PPR scoring and 4-point passing touchdowns. Most leagues use 6-point passing touchdowns, but data providers default to 4-point systems, so I’m keeping things consistent.

| Best Pick Season-Long | 120 points (QB2) | 92 points (TE1) | 56 points (DEF2) |
Week 6 Fantasy Football Streamers

Quarterback
Aaron Rodgers @ TB
Rodgers is playing very well in his final season. He’s QB16 overall and coming off a QB11 performance. He doesn’t have the best ceiling, but he is averaging 250 yards and two TDs per game, and for a streaming option, I’ll take those 18 fantasy points all day. Now, there is risk here. The Bucs have been solid against QBs this year, but over the last two weeks, Dak Prescott threw for over 300 yards and one TD, and Jordan Love hit 200 yards and two TDs. We need Rodgers to match Prescott for yards and Love for TDs. The way he is playing this season, I think he can do it.
Other Options
- Kirk Cousins vs. BUF
- Jameis Winston vs. NO
- C.J. Stroud @ JAX
- Jacoby Brissett @ LAR
Tight End
Pat Freiermuth @ TB
IT’S A STACK! I don’t force stacks in my Streams of the Week, but when they present themselves, it makes me so happy. Freiermuth has been solid all season but came alive last week. He caught five balls for 44 yards and found the endzone twice, finishing as the TE4 in fantasy. That big week brought him up to TE8 for the season. Tampa Bay allows the 11th-most fantasy points to TEs this year and three TEs have hit double digits against them this season in five games. I think Muth can match last week’s line, but maybe with only one TD. All in all, 15 fantasy points is a dream come true for streaming TEs.
Other Options
- Tyler Higbee vs. ARZ
- Dalton Schultz @ JAX (London)
- Brenton Strange vs. HOU (London)
- AJ Barner @ DEN (Thursday)

Defense
San Francisco 49ers vs. WAS
The Niners are the current DEF6 in fantasy, so I was a little surprised they are so available. They are 13th in QB sacks, and tied for 10th in takeaways for the season. Last week, in Jayden Daniels first game back, the Commanders gave up five sacks to the Giants. Coming into that game, the Giants had managed just three sacks in four games. San Fran should at least be able to match that total and probably add at least one takeaway.
Other Options
- Saints @ NYG
- Bears @ ATL
- Giants vs. NO
- Colts vs. TEN
