What goes up must come down. The law of averages took its toll in Week 16! After a great Week 15, my QB and TE were a huge disappointment last week. My SOTW defense, though, was the best on the slate. Small victories. But in semi-finals week, there is no sugar coating: I let you down!
Thankfully, you’re back and reading this final piece of the season, so maybe you had Puka Nacua and survived a bad week! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. We have three games on Thursday this week, so I wanted to get this article out early! Without further ado, let’s get into my final Streams of the Week for the 2025 season! Best of luck in your championship matchup.
Reminder: Each week, I highlight five streaming options at QB, TE, and DEF. These players are available in at least 50% of ESPN leagues and can still provide a matchup edge.
Accountability
Am I any good at this? I’ll let the numbers speak for themselves. In this section, you’ll see how my Stream of the Week (SOTW) and Best Pick finish every week. Since I always provide five options, my Best Pick is the one that scores the most points, even if I didn’t designate it as the Stream of the Week. Essentially, the Best Pick line shows what you could achieve if you streamed only from my weekly lists.
Scores and rankings are based on PPR scoring and 4-point passing touchdowns. Most leagues use 6-point passing touchdowns, but data providers default to 4-point systems, so I’m keeping things consistent.
If you want to see my old picks, this link will take you to my past Stream of the Week articles.

Week 17 Fantasy Streamers
Quarterback
Tyler Shough @ TEN
Shough threw for his first 300-yard game last week but managed just one touchdown. He could have added a second, but Taysom Hill usurped Chris Olave’s second score. Shough is getting hot at the right time, and I think he’ll make up for that lost score this week. The Titans have been playing decent defense, but don’t let last week fool you; a decent QB can still put up points on this defense. Before beating up on the QB-less Chiefs, Tennessee had allowed 11 TDs in its previous four games. In fact, they have allowed multiple QB TDs in seven of their last nine games. With what Shough can do with his legs, two or three TDs are definitely in play for your championship.
Other Options
- Sam Darnold @ CAR
- Bryce Young vs. SEA
- Shedeur Sanders vs. PIT
- Quinn Ewers vs. TB
Tight End
Brenton Strange @ IND
The Colts have had recent struggles against tight ends, and that came to a head on Monday night, when George Kittle torched them for 115 yards and a TD in three quarters. It was the third 20-point game Indianapolis has allowed to TEs this season, and all of them have come since Week 6. With Indy all but eliminated from the playoffs and pretty banged up on defense, it’s the perfect time to attack their weaknesses. Enter Trevor Lawrence…and Brenton Strange. Strange has been decent, but his QB is on fire, and you want a piece of that action. Strange went for 38 yards and a TD last week, and that feels like a safe floor in Week 17, with plenty of upside.
Other Options
- Juwan Johnson @ TEN
- Darren Waller vs. TB
- Theo Johnson @ LV
- Taysom Hill @ TEN
Defense
New Orleans Saints @ TEN
Yes, we are running it back with the Saints defense and stacking with our QB. Again, the Titans have been improving, but Cam Ward will still take a sack or three. He’s actually been sacked multiple times in all but two games this season, and even a beatdown Chiefs team managed to get to him twice last week. Defensive success can be hard to predict, but QB pressure is a good indicator. The Saints are in the top half of the league in sacks and takeaways, and with Cam Jordan on his retirement tour, I think that run continues in Week 17.
Other Options
- Browns vs. PIT
- Giants @ LV
- Titans vs. NO
- Chargers vs. HOU
PS: If you play in Week 18, while there will not be an article, my rankings will be live on the site around Tuesday.
