One. Week. Left. The fantasy playoffs start for most leagues next week, and if you’re here, I am guessing you need a win. We killed it with our streaming picks last week, and honestly, all season long. My Streams of the Week are the QB12, TE7, and DEF7, but the real magic is the Best Picks. If you followed this article every week and chose the best option from my Top 5, you would have built the QB1, TE2, and DEF1. Incredible. All without wasting a draft pick. However, I say all the time that you don’t get credit for last week’s points. All that matters is that you win this week and claim your playoff spot. Let’s get into my Streams of the Week for Week 14.
Each week, I highlight five streaming options at QB, TE, and DEF. These players are available in at least 50% of ESPN leagues and can still provide a matchup edge. With fantasy teams hoarding many of these start-one positions, I have also added a “Look Ahead Option” so you can plan for next week as well. Now, let’s dive into this week’s picks and find the upside you need.
Accountability
Am I any good at this? I’ll let the numbers speak for themselves. In this section, you’ll see how my Stream of the Week (SOTW) and Best Pick finish every week. Since I always provide five options, my Best Pick is the one that scores the most points, even if I didn’t designate it as the Stream of the Week. Essentially, the Best Pick line shows what you could achieve if you streamed only from my weekly lists.
Scores and rankings are based on PPR scoring and 4-point passing touchdowns. Although most leagues use 6-point passing touchdowns, data providers prefer 4-point systems, and I am trying to keep this simple.
If you want to see my old picks, this link will take you to my past Stream of the Week articles.
| QB | TE | DEF | |
| SOTW Last Week | 19 points (QB10) | 9 points (TE16) | 14 points (DEF3) |
| SOTW Season-Long | 206 points (QB12) | 132 points (TE7) | 97 points (DEF7) |
| Best Pick Last Week | 21 points (QB5) | 13 points (TE7) | 15 points (DEF2) |
| Best Pick Season-Long | 276 points (QB1) | 211 points (TE2) | 193 points (DEF1) |
Week 14 Fantasy Streamers
Quarterback
Jacoby Brissett vs. LAR…Yes, AGAIN!
Look, Brissett is my Stream of the Week for three weeks in a row. I have no idea why he isn’t rostered over 50% of leagues, and I have said all I can at this point, so I’ll just update the stats. Since taking over the starting job in Week 6, he is the QB3 in fantasy. In the three weeks he’s been my Stream of the Week, he’s the QB4. He is a damn good fantasy QB, and you would be lucky to have him. Yes, the Rams are a tougher matchup, but I expect the Cardinals to play from behind and throw a ton. Brissett will be just fine—AGAIN!
Other Options
- Tyler Shough @ TB
- Trevor Lawrence vs. IND
- Tyrod Taylor vs. MIA
- C.J. Stroud @ KC
- Look Ahead Option: Hold Brissett, but Shough gets CAR in Week 15. He played well against them in Week 10.
Tight End
Brenton Strange vs. IND
Welcome back, Brenton Strange! In the two weeks since his return, Strange is averaging 14 fantasy points and is the TE4. He has nine targets and turned those into eight catches for 138 yards and a TD. These aren’t gaudy numbers, but in the current TE landscape, he is a breath of fresh air. He also has a very favorable schedule moving forward, starting with this week’s tilt against the Colts. The Colts allow the fourth-most points to TEs on the season, and Strange faces them again in Week 17. Strange is going to get you into the playoffs this week and win you the championship three weeks later. Congrats!
Other Options
- Dalton Schultz @ KC
- Juwan Johnson @ TB
- Harold Fannin vs. TEN
- Darren Waller @ NYJ
- Look Ahead Option: Strange is a hold, but Juwan Johnson plays CAR, and Harold Fannin plays CHI. All are excellent streaming options in Week 15.
Defense
Indianapolis Colts @ JAX
This one is a little weird. Trevor Lawrence and Brenton Strange are both on my streaming lists, but I still like the Colts defense. There were some other intriguing matchups. If I knew Justin Herbert was out, the Eagles would probably be the pick. Honestly, they are probably still a good play if Herbert plays, but I didn’t want to risk it. The Commanders have a dream matchup with Minnesota, but their defense is just plain bad. The Colts are the ninth-ranked fantasy DEF this season, and the Jags do surrender multiple sacks and turnovers, on average. Those stats are usually the basis for my picks, so I am sticking with slow and steady this week. Indy doesn’t have a ton of upside, but they shouldn’t lose your matchup either.
Other Options
- Eagles @ LAC
- Commanders @ MIN
- Dolphins @ NYJ
- Buccaneers vs. NO
- Look Ahead Option: Jaguars play the Jets in Week 15.
