Week 12 Fantasy Streamers: Top QB, TE, and DEF Picks

Fantasy Football 2025

Last week sucked. Plain and simple. I basically had one good pick at each position, but none of them were my Stream of the Week. Oof. As we get this close to the playoffs, streaming gets tough but also far more critical. We can’t dwell on it too long, so we’re on to Week 12. Overall, we’ve still built the QB13, TE6, and DEF6 with my Streams of the Week this year, and my Best Picks are nearly the best at their positions. We won’t let one week get us down.

Each week, I highlight five streaming options at QB, TE, and DEF. These players are available in at least 50% of ESPN leagues and can still provide a matchup edge. With fantasy teams hoarding many of these start-one positions, I have also added a “Look Ahead Option” so you can plan for next week as well. Now, let’s dive into this week’s picks and find the upside you need.

Accountability

Am I any good at this? I’ll let the numbers speak for themselves. In this section, you’ll see how my Stream of the Week (SOTW) and Best Pick finish every week. Since I always provide five options, my Best Pick is the one that scores the most points, even if I didn’t designate it as the Stream of the Week. Essentially, the Best Pick line shows what you could achieve if you streamed only from my weekly lists.

Scores and rankings are based on PPR scoring and 4-point passing touchdowns. Although most leagues use 6-point passing touchdowns, data providers prefer 4-point systems, and I am trying to keep this simple.

If you want to see my old picks, this link will take you to my past Stream of the Week articles.

QB TE DEF
SOTW Last Week 9 points (QB23) 7 points (TE18) 4 points (DEF16)
SOTW Season-Long 169 points (QB13) 113 points (TE6) 82 points (DEF6)
Best Pick Last Week 22 points (QB4) 11 points (TE8) 6 points (DEF11)
Best Pick Season-Long 237 points (QB2) 183 points (TE2) 162 points (DEF1)

Week 12 Fantasy Streamers

Quarterback

Jacoby Brissett vs. JAX

Brissett has been on fire since taking this job over in Week 6. He is averaging almost 22 fantasy points per game and broke the NFL record for completions in a single game last week. Even with his recent turnovers, his passing volume has propped him up to the QB4 in fantasy since taking over as the starter. Jacksonville just shut down Justin Herbert, but before that, they gave up five straight games of 20 or more fantasy points. Even with last week, they gave up the fourth-most points to QBs in their last five games. Brissett is the perfect streamer with a safe floor and solid ceiling.

Other Options

Tight End

Juwan Johnson vs. ATL

Looking at the numbers, Atlanta is a really tough matchup for tight ends. They give up the third-fewest points to the position and have only allowed one TE to score double-digit fantasy points this season. The good news? They haven’t faced Johnson yet, and he is getting hot over his last four games. Since Week 7, Johnson is the TE7 in fantasy and just had his best game of the year in Week 10. It seems Tyler Shough is ready to rely on his TE, and that makes Johnson safe, even in a tough matchup.

Other Options

Defense

Kansas City Chiefs vs. IND

What kind of idiot suggests playing defense against Jonathan Taylor? Me. I’m an idiot. In my defense, the matchups for streaming defenses are far from ideal this week, and the Chiefs are tough against RBs. It’s strength against strength, so there must be another reason I like this matchup. There is, and his name is Daniel Jones. Jones has turned the ball over seven times in his last two games and had three other fumbles that he didn’t lose. The Colts also allow the most sacks in the NFL over their previous three games. For fantasy DEF, the name of the game is sacks and turnovers, and that puts Kansas City in a better position than you might think. We just have to hope they can slow Jonathan Taylor down a bit.

Other Options

  • Bills @ HOU
  • Falcons @ NO
  • 49ers vs. CAR
  • Jaguars @ ARZ
  • Look Ahead Option: Jaguars play TEN in Week 13.
