Well, Week 2 was slightly less fun than Week 1. The fantasy action was great, but injuries are starting to pop up, and I am not a fan! Who knew Turf Toe was still a thing? And now we lose two QBs to it in one week? Not. Cool. It’s time to fix your roster. Every week, we’ll highlight our Top 5 waiver wire pickups to help you stay ahead of the competition and keep your roster strong.
A few quick notes: I use ESPN as my baseline, so players must be available in at least 50% of ESPN leagues to be included on the list. I’m also a proponent of streaming QB, TE, K, and DEF, so you’ll rarely see those positions on my list; they’re easy to snag for free after waivers. Save your FAAB! Now, let’s hit the Top 5.
Week 3 Fantasy Football Waivers
Bhayshul Tuten (60% Available on ESPN, 55% on Sleeper)
In an incredible twist, Tuten appears on this list for a second-straight week after his ESPN roster percentage went down! Down? They traded Tank Bigsby, and ESPN managers were like, “Time to drop Tuten”? While that makes zero sense, you get a chance to correct the mistake this week. Travis Etienne continues to look great as the lead back, but Tuten took a step up in Week 2. He rushed for 42 yards and added 32 and a TD in the passing game. Tuten is a score-from-anywhere type player, and will undoubtedly have more games like this in the future. Every Etienne manager should roster him at a minimum, but he can play your Flex most weeks and has major upside. We don’t leave RBs like this on waivers.

Wan’Dale Robinson (70% Available on ESPN, 73% on Sleeper)
Robinson was better than you remember in 2024, putting together the quietest 140-target season possibly ever. It was easy to ignore him based on his abysmal 7.5 yards per catch, but I told everyone to draft him. Why? Two reasons: the QB change and the lack of WR change. His role was staying the same, and the balls heading his way would be better. Through two weeks, Robinson is on pace for 150 targets and is averaging 14 yards per catch. He is a top-10 WR in fantasy right now. What a steal for those who drafted him, but for the many who didn’t, now is the time to get your every-week Flex play on waivers!
Cedric Tillman (53% Available on ESPN, 53% on Sleeper)
There were many who thought Tillman was a better fit to be the WR1 in Cleveland, and through two weeks, they are right. Jerry Jeudy has one more target, more catches, and more yards, but Tillman has two TDs, and that puts him ahead in fantasy points. Cleveland is still Cleveland, and Joe Flacco might not be the QB for long, so this could all change soon, but that doesn’t mean Tillman will go away. He is the WR23 in fantasy right now and is a decent Flex play moving forward.
Daniel Jones (79% Available on ESPN, 65% on Sleeper)
Last week, I included a tight end after saying I wouldn’t. This week, it’s a quarterback. But with Brock Purdy and Joe Burrow going down with Turf Toe, chances are, you might need some help. Enter Daniel Jones. No, seriously, Daniel Jones is good now. Stop laughing and look at the numbers. Through two games, he has thrown for 588 yards and scored five TDs. Also, no turnovers? Who is this guy? The QB2 in fantasy, that’s who. Plug your nose and put in the waiver claim.
Romeo Doubs (80% Available on ESPN, 77% on Sleeper)
Doubs went from possibly a trade candidate to Jordan Love’s WR1 pretty quickly. With Jayden Reed set to miss two months and Matthew Golden taking some time to get acclimated to the NFL, Doubs has fantasy value. He is only the WR42 through two weeks, but I expect that role to grow with Reed out. We should see more of Week 2, five targets, three catches, and a TD, than Week 1, where he had just two catches. Love still likes to spread the ball around, so it might only be Flex duty for Doubs.
