The grind is real. We are officially past the halfway point of the fantasy season and way past my good material for intros. Nobody is here for intros anyway; you just want the picks. We are coming off the best week of the season, and with playoff hopes on the line, we need to keep that momentum. Here are my Top 5 Streaming options from our QB, TE, and Defense rankings for Week 10.
A Quick Note: You will notice that I do not cover Kicker streams. We leave that to the experts, so check out Linda’s rankings.
Accountability
Last week could have been a disaster, but when your Stream of the Week finishes as the QB1 for the week, the numbers look pretty. Thank you, Justin Fields. Fields’ record-setting day gave us 48 fantasy points. Unfortunately, Evan Engram got hurt, and Kansas City disappointed, so the Streams of the Week only ended with 53 fantasy points. However, the QB12, TE12, and DEF12 average just 34 points per week this year, so we’ll accept the smash win. Thank you, Justin Fields.
For the week, three QBs and defenses hit, and just two TEs–not terrible and just about our average when you look at the year. We’re batting about .500 at QB and DEF for the season but only .333 at TE. Overall, we’ve built the QB8, TE22, and DEF26. Disappointing, to say the least. As always, the Best of the Bunch score is laughing in my face.
Best of the Bunch is my best pick each week, but I may not have called them the Stream of the Week. I was close, but close isn’t good enough. For the season, my Best of the Bunch would be the QB1, TE4, and DEF1. The correct players are right in front of my face; I just put them in the wrong slot.

Quarterback
Stream of the Week – Marcus Mariota @ CAR (Thursday)
History is in Mariota’s favor here. And not distant history. Two weeks ago, Mariota beat Carolina for three TDs and 296 total yards. He was the QB6 in Week 8, finishing with 28 fantasy points. Carolina is middle of the pack when it comes to points allowed to QBs, allowing around 19 on average. Three QBs, Mariota included, have scored 20+ on them this season. The short week is concerning, but Mariota’s rushing ability gives him a safe enough floor, and he showed us a nice ceiling two weeks ago.
Other Options
- Jacoby Brissett @ MIA
- Andy Dalton (or Jameis Winston) @ PIT
- Trevor Lawrence @ KC

Tight Ends
Stream of the Week – Greg Dulcich @ TEN
Dulcich is unlikely to be eligible for this list much longer. The rookie has started his career hot, scoring 11+ fantasy points in each of his first three games. The Titans give up 7th-most fantasy points to TEs, and it’s primarily based on volume. They allow six receptions for 68 yards on average to the position. Dulcich is averaging four catches for 60 yards per game in three games. Based on those averages, he has another 10-point floor in this game, and if he scores a TD, he’ll be a top-5 option.
A quick note about Taysom Hill: As long as he meets the criteria, Hill will be my permanent #2 on this list. He offers an upside that no streaming TE can match, but his floor is still very bad. That floor is why I would never consider starting him at QB, but he is worth the gamble at TE. My fundamental issue with calling him a TE will likely prevent me from ever calling him my Stream of the Week.
Other Options
- Taysom Hill @ PIT
- Cade Otton vs SEA (Germany)
- Cole Kmet vs DET
- Noah Fant vs TB (Germany)

Defense
Stream of the Week – Denver Broncos @ TEN
Denver has the No.12 fantasy defense, but they are widely available for two reasons. First, they were on a bye last week. Second, they just traded away their best defensive lineman. They are currently Top 10 in sacks, but will that continue sans Bradley Chubb? The good news is that Tennessee allows 2.5 sacks per game and has allowed three in each game with Malik Willis at QB. That alone gives Denver a decent floor. If they can add a turnover or two, maybe their first TD of the season, they could make a push for the Top 5 in a week where there are not a lot of great defensive matchups.
Other Options
- Giants vs HOU
- Cardinals @ LAR
- Falcons @ CAR (Thursday)
- Steelers vs NO
