Thrive Fantasy | Top 5 Sunday Divisional Player Props

Wild card weekend was great. We were five-for-five on props mentioned in this article. Depending on how you did with your other five, you could have hit a nice payday. Now, here we are in the divisional round. Truthfully, the weeks after a five-for-five are always the hardest. Everyone expects another perfect week, myself included. This week, there are only two games for this slate, but we are ready to deliver. You know the drill. Five props are coming at you. It is your responsibility to find another five. Let’s get started with our half.

Top Five Thrive Fantasy Sunday Divisional Player Props

Sony Michel 70.5 Rush Yards

Take the UNDER here. Sony had a stretch from Week-13 to Week-17 that consisted of nothing but overs in rush yards. However, after Cam Akers came back in Week-18, Michel has had less than 60 yards rushing in each of the last two games. He had a solid game against the Cardinals with 13 carries for 58 yards. Meanwhile, Akers had 17 carries and most of the snaps. I expect that to continue this weekend against Tampa. Tampa is also the third-best rushing defense in the league. I am confident that Michel hits the under. If anyone were to hit the over for the Rams, it would probably be Akers. You get 90 for the under here.

Odell Beckham Jr. 3.5 Total Rec.

Take the OVER here. Beckham has hit at least four receptions in three of his last four games. In seven of his previous eight games with the Rams, Beckham has had at least four targets, for an average of six targets a game. Those are good numbers to expect four or more receptions against Tampa. The Buccaneers are a top-3 defense against the run. However, they are 21st against the pass. The Rams will likely have to lean on Stafford to put points on the board. By extension, I like the over here for OBJ. You get 90 points for the over.

Josh Allen 3.5 Total Pass TDs + INTs

Take the OVER here. Allen is coming off a weekend with five passing touchdowns against the “vaunted” Patriots defense. Now it is true that Allen has only hit the over on four total pass TDs + INTs in his last nine games. However, this game has “shootout” written all over it. It is the highest over/under on the weekend by a mile (54). It is safe to assume that Allen will hit the over unless there are several rush touchdowns from the Bills. This is especially true if you throw in the one interception a game average for Allen. If you are on the fence, then consider the 125 points for the over. I’m sold on the over.

Darrel Williams 62.5 Total Rush Yards + Rec. Yards

Take the UNDER here. Williams is coming off a game where he played eight snaps and had one touch. His snap count and usage is going the wrong way. Meanwhile, Mckinnon had 18 touches last weekend against the Steelers last weekend and looked outstanding. Now enter Clyde Edwards-Helaire. He got hurt in Week-16 and has missed the previous three games. It seems like he is off the injury list now and poised to play. This makes the RB committee even murkier, and the thought of the over is less likely for Darrel Williams. You get 95 for the under.

Tyreek Hill 3.5 Total Rec.

Finally, take the OVER here. Tyreek has admittedly been in a bit of a funk since his stint on the COVID list. The yardage numbers have just not been there, and he was a decoy for at least a game. However, he looked good last week against the Steelers with five receptions and has hit the over in two of his previous three games. Before being on the COVID list, Hill had hit the over in 12 of 14 games. Given the high over/under, and the momentum from last week, Hill could be back to normal. You only get 80 points for the over for a reason. You must build your base, though!

You get 480 points with these five props. Good luck!
