Week 17 Fantasy Football Waivers

Quarterbacks

Carson Wentz vs LV (52% Available)

The Raiders haven’t looked great on defense, and Wentz has weapons. Wentz dropped 20+ on Arizona last week. He is the only waiver QB you can truly consider this week.

Tua Tagovailoa @ TEN (59% Available)

You’re chasing the matchup here. Tua hasn’t looked bad, but they also didn’t even need him last week. The weather may also come into play here. It’s a gamble, and you need to be desperate.

Running Backs

Ke’Shawn Vaughn @ NYJ (99% Available)

Vaughn was involved last week and should be heavily used in what should be a blowout in Week 17. Dare Ogunbowale just had a nice game against the Jets. Vaughn will feast.

Rex Burkhead @ SF (86% Available)

The matchup is far from ideal, but volume is volume. Burkhead was a monster in Week 16, dropping almost 30 fantasy points on LAC.

Dare Ogunbowale @ NE (98% Available)

Talk about desperation. Dare should see decent usage against a bad run defense with James Robinson done for the year.

Wide Receivers

Marquez Valdes-Scantling vs MIN (60% Available)

Assuming he’s off the COVID list, he’s the only sub-50% WR I remotely trust. He’s the only one who has proven he can do it, and Minnesota is just awful at CB.

Kadarius Toney @ CHI (78% Available)

Too risky, but he may see the volume needed to surprise. Toney was targeted nine times in his first game back and should do more in game 2.

Tight Ends

Pat Freiermuth vs CLE (50% Available)

He’ll need to get healthy enough to play, but the Browns struggle against the TE.

Gerald Everett vs DET (58% Available)

He seems to have firmly taken over as DK Metcalf has struggled. Best TD upside you’ll find on waivers.

CJ Uzomah vs KC (77% Available)

A bit of letdown in Week 16, but you won’t find a better matchup. This game should have the highest O/U of the entire NFL season.

Kicker and D/ST

Usually, I’d tell you to never blow a waiver claim on these positions…, but this is your last game.

Michael Badgley vs LV (73% Available)

Dome game and Indy should put up plenty of points

Robbie Gould vs HOU (74% Available)

Rookie QB should lead to more kicking opportunities.

Colts D/ST vs LV (50% Available)

The Cardinals scared people into dropping them. The Raiders should not scare anyone.

Seahawks vs DET (51% Available)

This matchup looks a lot better if Goff cannot play.
