There’s no more important time for critical waiver wire pickups than the playoffs. Get these players on your roster!
Mike Gillislee – He’s not just a valuable handcuff to Shady – the Bills use him and use him well. If you’re desperate for a running back as you approach or begin the playoffs, Gillislee has to be on your list of players to add.
Malcolm Mitchell – Gronk’s out for the season and while you should probably temper your expectations, Mitchell represents the best deep threat for the Pats, and with Brady slinging it he’s worth an add.
Ladarius Green – I’m a little “meh” on Green based on his schedule over the next few weeks. If you’re needy at tight end, however, he’s probably one of the better flier options on waivers.
Tyler Lockett – Here come the Seahawks and with them Tyler Lockett. The most dangerous weapon aside from Russell Wilson, Locket is a boom-or-bust flex play that is worth the chance.
CJ Fiedorowicz – He’s second in targets in Houston but most importantly he’s the most consistent and valuable fantasy player based on his availability – he’s still only owned in 52% of ESPN leagues. He faces an awful Colts secondary this week. Grab him and start him.
