By The Hudsonian, Joshua Hudson & The Commishie

Commishie is tied up traveling home, so he texted me some daily picks for this week. Take our advice and go win some money!

QB

marcusmariotaMarcus Mariota (FD $8300/DK $7200) – Seven straight games with 2 or more touchdown passes. Hard to not want to pay for that kind of consistency, even against a Bears secondary that averages only 20 pts allowed to opposing QBs this season.

Eli Manning (FD $7800/DK $6500) – He plays the Browns this week. Easy money.

Tyrod Taylor (FD $7700/DK $5900) – At least 35 yards rushing in his last 4 games with 3 rushing TDs, his floor is high just off those numbers. Jacksonville holds opposing QBs well, but the only 20+ point performance they’ve allowed since week 4 was to Marcus Mariota, a running QB, in week 8.

RB

demarcomurrayDeMarco Murray (FD $8300/DK $7700) – The Bears run defense has been trending down the last two weeks, allowing 2 rushing TDs in that span and over 100 yards to the Giants. They allowed Rashad Jennings to have his best day this season last week, and Murray is a more superior back. He’s worth the price this week.

Todd Gurley (FD $7500/DK $5700) – He scored his first TD since week 5 last week, and is rewarded this week with a Saints defense that allows the 6th most fantasy points to RBs. This is the part of the column where math is your friend.

Rashad Jennings (FD $6600/DK $5600) – Coming off his best game of the season, he plays the Browns this week. Easy money.

WR

larryfitzgeraldLarry Fitzgerald (FD $7200/DK $7000) – This likely high scoring affair will feature a ton of offense. If that wasn’t enough, the Falcons allow the 2nd most fantasy points to WRs. Lots and lots of Larry Fitzgerald, please.

Kenny Britt (FD $7100/DK $5400) – A rookie QB needs a safety net. Kenny Britt has been a renaissance this year for the Rams. In his first game with Jared Goff running the show, Britt had 5 catches. He gets a Saints defense that can be thrown on.

Steve Smith Sr. (FD $6300/DK $6000) – 13 catches for 159 yards and 2 touchdowns. Those are his stats the last 2 weeks. If you thought he was old and washed up, he’s telling you he’s a young 37 and is still the best wide receiver on the Ravens. Against a beat up Bengals team, look for him to find some space and add to those totals.

TE

jimmygrahamJimmy Graham (FD $6900/DK $5300) – Graham has been a revelation this season. He has at least one touchdown in 2 of his last three games and gets a Bucs defense this week that just gave up 108 yards to Chiefs TE Travis Kelce. Great players negate tough matchups. Graham is a great player. Worth the price this week.

Delanie Walker (FD $6100/DK $4900) – Sensing a theme? Start your Titans vs. the Bears. Don’t worry about the red next to their names. Walker will be just fine as Mariota number one option.

C.J. Fiedorowicz (FD $5200/DK $3300) – Fiedorowicz has quietly put together a stand out season. QB Brock Osweiler can’t seem to get the ball down field so he’s looking underneath to his TEs often. Fiedorowicz has been the leading beneficiary and I see no reason why that can’t continue against the Chargers on Sunday.

D/ST

The Dolphins (FD $5000/DK $3300) and Giants (FD $4800/DK $3600) are the defenses to play this week. In other words, the teams facing the 49ers and Browns, respectively.
