Something amazing happened last week. Josh actually beat BOTH me and Richey in daily fantasy. The last time Miami had this much success against FSU, President Obama had only been in office for nine months. Safe to say, this will never happen again.
It’s another week with tons of teams on byes, so your pickings will be slim. Let’s figure out how to get you some money!
QB
Aaron Rodgers (FD $9100/DK $7800) – This is the second straight week I’m recommending that you put down big money for Aaron Rodgers. Last week against the Falcons, he threw for 246 yards and 4 touchdowns and this week he plays a worse defense in the Indianapolis Colts. On paper, Rodgers should put up top 2 fantasy numbers this week.
Dak Prescott (FD $7600/DK $6100) – The Rookie of the Year candidate leads the Cowboys into Cleveland to face the Browns’ awful pass defense. Dak limits his mistakes and teams still haven’t figured him out yet. If you’re looking for value at the QB spot, Dak’s your guy this week.
Marcus Mariota (FD $7600/DK $5900) – Mariota’s played some horrible defenses the last three weeks and has rewarded fantasy owners who have started him. He gets one more incredible matchup this week against a weak Chargers defense. Roll out the former Heisman trophy winner with confidence.
RB
Ezekiel Elliott (FD $9200/DK $7900) – Dallas has the two leading ROY candidates on its team. Dak, who I recommend starting above, and Zeke, who is also on my start list this week. He’s pretty expensive but as the Cowboys’ workhorse who seemingly doesn’t tire, this matchup against the Browns should have you salivating.
Terrance West (FD $6400/DK $4700) – If you’re looking to spend lots of money at other positions, Terrance West can offer you prime value for what appears to be incredible potential this week. Even if Big Ben doesn’t play you can bet the Ravens will want to dictate the pace of the game via their running game.
Charcandrick West (FD $5600/DK $4400) – West is the man for Kansas City this week with Charles on the injured reserve and Spencer Ware out with a concussion. Probably the best value at the RB position this week.
WR
Jordy Nelson (FD $8200/DK $7800) – Nelson’s got six touchdowns in seven games and he plays the Colts. As you’ll see with our lineups below we love the Rodgers/Nelson stack this week.
Emmanuel Sanders (FD $6800/DK $6300) – Really, you could start Demaryius Thomas or Emmanuel Sanders this week against the vulnerable Oakland defense. Since Sanders is cheaper on FanDuel, we’ll go with him.
Stefon Diggs (FD $6500/DK $5900) – Diggs seemed rejuvenated last week against the Bears and has another generous matchup on deck against the Lions.
TE
Greg Olsen (FD $7500/DK $6200) – There aren’t many great tight end matchups this week, so we may as well go with the best one available. The Rams’ defense is average and Cam trusts Olsen, so you should too.
Kyle Rudolph (FD $5000/DK $4000) – Rudolph’s clearly the best value this week as he faces the porous Lions defense.
D/ST
The Cowboys (FD $4900/DK $3400) against the Browns and the Dolphins (FD $4700/DK $3100) against the Jets are my favorite defenses this week.
