The forgotten position.
Or it used to be anyway. It used to simply be a position to assist in the run game and to catch maybe a pass a game to get a first down.
Not anymore.
Over the last 10 years, we’ve seen the tight end position evolve into something of a priority for teams. And by priority, I mean “someone who can catch the damn football” priority.
Teams want elite athletes that can stretch the field because the linebacker position hasn’t quite caught up to the evolution. Few linebackers and safeties can cover these big-bodied behemoths and teams want to exploit that.
So should you, aspiring fantasy football champion. So should you.
