Monday Night Football Player Props Week 3: Lions at Ravens

Fantasy Football 2025

We’re keeping things accountable with our Monday Night Football props. After the first two weeks of the season, our record sits at 4-5 overall. Week 1 was rough, hitting just 1 of 5 picks, but we rebounded nicely in Week 2 with a 3-for-4 performance. The goal now is simple: keep building momentum and push our way back with a strong Week 3 card.

This week, the Detroit Lions head to Baltimore to face the Ravens in what promises to be a physical, grind-it-out matchup under the primetime lights. Both teams have legitimate playoff aspirations, both play with a lot of toughness, and both bring unique challenges to the betting board. With that in mind, let’s break down the props we’re targeting for Monday night.

Monday Night Football Player Props

Jahmyr Gibbs – Higher than 22.5 Receiving Yards

Through two weeks, Gibbs has been one of the most efficient safety valves in football. He’s seen 13 targets, catching all 13 for positive yardage. With the Ravens expected to dial up pressure on Jared Goff, the check-down game becomes even more critical. Baltimore’s defensive front excels at collapsing pockets, which will force Goff to get the ball out quickly. Gibbs is perfectly suited for that role, and 22.5 yards feels like a number he can eclipse by the end of the third quarter.

DeAndre Hopkins – Higher than 1.5 Receptions

This one isn’t flashy, but betting doesn’t always have to be. Hopkins hasn’t been heavily involved in his offense through two weeks, but when called upon, he’s delivered. He’s been targeted modestly and sits at four catches on four targets this season, including two receptions in each of the first two games. That’s all we need again on Monday night, two short grabs to cash the ticket. Sometimes consistency is the best path to value.

Jake Bates – Higher than 1.5 Field Goals Made

“Mr. Automatic”? When it comes to kickers, reliability is everything. Bates has been flawless so far, going 8-for-8 on field goals through two games. The way this matchup sets up, Detroit should be able to move the ball between the 20s but may struggle to finish drives against Baltimore’s disciplined red zone defense. That creates the perfect opportunity for Bates to step in and add points. Two attempts and two makes seem well within reach.

Zay Flowers – Higher than 5.5 Receptions

The most dynamic playmaker in Baltimore’s passing game, Flowers has quickly earned Lamar Jackson’s trust. He ranks in the top 10 in the NFL in total targets after two weeks, with 20 looks turning into 14 receptions. He’s more than just a deep threat; Baltimore has been using him all over the field to generate easy completions and move the chains. Against a Lions secondary that can be tested, Flowers should again see a heavy dose of opportunities. Six receptions feels like the floor, not the ceiling.

Final Thoughts

This Week 3 Monday Night Football card leans on reliability and usage trends: Gibbs as the check-down option against heavy pressure, Hopkins as the steady veteran, Bates as the red zone insurance policy, and Flowers as the clear alpha in Baltimore’s passing attack. After starting the season 4-5, the goal is simple: cash these plays to get us back on the right side of .500.

Under the lights in Baltimore, it’s the perfect setup to do just that.
