After a tough Week 4, we got a welcome bounce back in Week 5. All three of our Stream of the Week picks finished in the Top 10, and our TE and Defense picks were both the overall top plays on the week. You read that right. The top tight end and fantasy defense in Week 5 were available in more than 50% of leagues for streamers to scoop up for free. What a game we play! I can’t promise that success every week, but I assure you I’ll try. Here are the best streaming options from our Week 6 QB, TE, and Defense rankings.

Accountability
Am I any good at this? I’ll let the numbers tell you. In this section, you’ll see how my Stream of the Week (SOTW) and Best Pick finish every week. Since I always give five options, my Best Pick is the one that scores the most points, even if I didn’t call it the Stream of the Week. Basically, Best Pick shows you what streaming is capable of. Scores and rankings are based on PPR scoring and 4-point passing TDs. I know the world uses 6-point passing TDs, but data providers love 4-point, and I am trying to keep this simple.

Week 6 Streams of the Week

Quarterback
Jared Goff @ DAL
In case you forgot, Goff was on fire in Week 4. He was the QB4 with 292 yards and two touchdowns. He also did not throw an incomplete pass against Seattle. Then, the Lions went on bye, and Goff was an afterthought. I suspect that bye is the only reason he is available enough to qualify as a Stream this week. Detroit faces Dallas in Week 6, and the Cowboys give up about 17 fantasy points per game to QBs, plus three QBs have scored multiple TDs against them. All in all, this feels like it could be a similar game environment to what Detroit faced in Week 4, and I expect a similar result for Goff in fantasy football.

Tight End
Zach Ertz @ BAL
What year is it? Zach Ertz is a viable TE again, albeit not an exciting one. He is averaging seven fantasy points per game and ranks as the TE16 on the season. While he hasn’t found the endzone yet, he also hasn’t seen fewer than three targets in any game and is usually at four or more. In Week 5, he was targeted eight times but only caught two balls, as Jayden Daniels had his worst completion percentage as a starter against Cleveland. While Baltimore has a tough defense, they are giving up more fantasy points to QBs and TEs than the Browns, so things should be better for the Commanders in Week 6. The Ravens have allowed the fourth-most points to TEs, and three guys have scored 9-plus fantasy points against them. All of that, and they haven’t allowed a tight end TD yet. Both the Ravens and Zach Ertz are due, and I think we will see him find the endzone and a fantasy top-10 finish in Week 6.

Chicago Bears vs. JAX (London)
There are actually a ton of great streaming options at defense this week, but I am going to pick on the Jaguars. Yes, they looked like a much-improved offense in Week 5, but the Bears also have a much better defense than the Colts. Plus, this is a London game, and things get weird in London games. Chicago has the fourth-best fantasy defense right now, and they rank third in takeaways this season. They also average about three sacks per game. For their part, Jacksonville gives up about two sacks and one turnover per game on average in 2024. They had an interception and fumble against the Colts last week, even when their offense was working well. The Bears also have scored two DEF/ST touchdowns this season, tied for the most in the league. That potential is enough to earn them my top spot this week.
