It’s the final countdown! If you were born before 1990, I’m sure that song is now stuck in your head…and you’re welcome. If you don’t know that song, just know that I’m old, and this explanation is the perfect filler when you’re not sure what to write in an intro. Now that we have my word count up, there is one week left in the fantasy regular season, and you need this win. Whether it is to make the playoffs, secure a bye, or just knock some undeserving manager out of the race, here are the best streaming options from our Week 14 QB, TE, and Defense rankings.
A Quick Note: You will notice that I do not cover Kicker streams. We leave that to the experts, so check out Linda’s rankings.
Accountability
I believe the saying is, “What goes up must come down.” Physics and the law of averages win again. At quarterback, I jinxed not one but two QBs into injury. Kenny Pickett and Derek Carr were my Stream of the Week and 1st alternate; both left their games early. Things were miraculously worse at TE. I make five picks every week, and in Week 13, those five TEs averaged just two fantasy points. Two of the players, including my Stream of the Week, Juwan Johnson, managed ZERO points. As always, DEF/ST was my saving grace, with all five of my picks finishing in the top 10. For the season, my Steams of the Week average out to be the QB17, TE9, and DEF1. My Best picks are literally the top of each position. That means that using just the players mentioned in this weekly article, you could have built a QB better than Josh Allen, a TE better than Travis Kelce, and a defense better than the Dallas Cowboys.
| Last Week SOTW | Last Week Best Pick | SOTW Season Avg | Best Pick Season Avg | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| QB | 23 fantasy points | 30 fantasy points | 17 fantasy points | 28 fantasy points |
| Rank | QB13 | QB1 | QB17 | QB1 |
| TE | 9 fantasy points | 10 fantasy points | 11 fantasy points | 16 fantasy points |
| Rank | TE19 | TE16 | TE8 | TE1 |
| DEF | 0 fantasy points | 4 fantasy points | 10 fantasy points | 15 fantasy points |
| Rank | DEF29 | DEF19 | DEF1 | DEF1 |
Note: Best Pick is the one of my five picks that scores the most points each week. I might not have called them Stream of the Week, but hopefully, you did!

Quarterback
Stream of the Week – Gardner Minshew @ CIN
The Colts are on a four-game winning streak, and Minshew has been pretty good for fantasy in each of the last two weeks. Last week, specifically, he dropped 312 yards and two TDs on Tennessee in a thrilling overtime win. Now he gets a Cincinnati team that allows 20 points per game to QBs, 9th-most in the league. They’ve also been torched by QBs in five of their last six games, with QBs upping that average to 23 points per game. Trevor Lawrence was the QB5 against them in Week 13, and as long as the weather cooperates, Minshew should have a top-10 floor in Week 14.
- Baker Mayfield @ ATL
- Jake Browning vs IND
- Will Levis @ MIA
- Joe Flacco vs. JAX
Tight Ends
Stream of the Week – Isaiah Likely vs. LAR
Likely hasn’t done much in two games since taking over for Mark Andrews, but he did record four catches for 40 yards before the team’s Week 13 bye. Hopefully, he used that week to get better acclimated to the offense because the Rams are a great matchup for fantasy tight ends. They give up 14 points per game to the position, and over the last five games, four tight ends have scored 10 or more fantasy points against them. If Likely can match his Week 12 volume and fall into the endzone, he could be a top-5 play in Week 14.
Other Options
- Gerald Everett vs. DEN
- Cade Otton @ ATL
- Chigoziem Okonkwo @ MIA
- Michael Mayer vs. MIN
DEF/ST
Stream of the Week – Houston Texans @ NYJ
Of course, we’re going to pick on the Jets and their game of QB Roulette. They have given up the 2nd-most fantasy points to DEF/ST this year and rank third in both turnovers and sacks allowed. Over their last six games, the opposing defense has scored 106 fantasy points, over 17 points per game, on average, and three of those opponents were the overall DEF1 on the week. For their part, the Houston DEF has scored 8-plus fantasy points in three of their last four games and was the DEF5 last week. I think another top-5 finish is a safe bet here.
Other Options
- Packers @ NYG
- Vikings @ LV
- Jaguars @ CLE
- Buccaneers @ ATL
